Yeah, I know. Third post in one day…

I’ve changed the theme and a lot of the pages round, and I think it’s a bit nicer than before.

Also, I’ve done a bit of work on the TGRPG blog, to make it a bit more presentable.

And I’m looking at where we could get sprites and tiles for the project. There seems to be a lot of free content out there, and I may be able to do a small amount of editing of them.

So yeah, things seem to be going pretty well for me atm. I’ve had very little homework, my IT project is really easy [thought fitting everything in might be hard], I had two lessons off today, cadets is doing well. The presentation evening is on Thursday, and I’m hoping [hoping] to get Sargent (I’ve been Corporal for two years, which sucks).

My blog is doing far better that I ever thought it would do, with 650 hits total in the last two month [An average of 20 EVERY DAY, and 456 this month][Actually that doesn't really work. WP gives me an average of 5 a day since I started] and I’m really happy about that ‘cus I never thought I would be getting this many readers [Although I have no idea who is reading this, so if you are please leave a comment!].

I’m thinking of getting a domain and server for it, so i can do my own themes and add stuff, and maybe run some of my own projects. It will probably be a free one using .co.cc and byethost.com, but they’ve had pretty good reviews and look like it will work well. But I’m not sure yet.

And two months till I hit 17! Yay! I’m slightly unexcited about Christmas, mainly because of the big math exam right after. But supposedly everyone fails it anyway and then does really well in the retakes. And I’m not going to start learning to drive when I’m 17, it’s expensive, there’s no way I’m going to be able to get a car, and motorbikes are cooler.

As I’m lining up several projects for myself, I’m planning on uploading some of my Lego models that I make [bet you didn't see that coming!]. And I’m probably going to do a bit of work on the TGRPG project, and of course, running this blog.

Also, I kinda need to set out some plan for when I update it, ‘cus like today I end up posting loads at once, and then not posting for several days. Any ideas?

And wow. I wrote a lot. 459 words. And a lot of sentences starting with ‘a’. So, as I didn’t give this post a title, I’ll name it now:

Adventures ruleset v2-0-2

I have now released the first version of a project I have been working on for a long time. It’s been thought many different iterations and formats, but I’m a bit more define about what I am doing with it now.

The Adventures Ruleset is a RPG ruleset (similar to Dungeons and Dragons, but not as complex (so far )) that is designed to:

• Be usable on several different platforms (computer, paper based)
• Be used for single player or multiplayer games, with or without a DM (Dungeon Master)
• Be usable on several diffrent styles [fiction] of game (sci-fi, swords and sorcery)
• Be usable on several diffrent styles of gameplay, such as with or without miniatures and maps.

This is a first version, and there’s a huge amount missing from it that I hope to update soon – much of it is in diffrent formats and places. I even did a version in Microsoft Excel once.

As the Adventures Ruleset is designed to be used for many games, I plan to take any game specific parts out of it, and move them into my own game, which is named Talæria (pronouciation Tal-air-E-A).

I’m also planning to use some ideas from this in the Teen Geek RPG game (click here).
